Use these effective natural home remedies to treat dry skin.

Milk Cream
Milk Cream

Lactic acid contained in milk cream helps to remove dry skin. The soothing nature of milk cream also helps to maintain delicate pH levels of the skin. Milk cream is an excellent moisturizer. Mix lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of milk, 2 teaspoons of milk cream. Please scrub it with your hands and feet. Please leave it for a while before taking a shower. Do this everyday. Please add enough milk cream to 3 to 4 tablespoons of gram flour to make a thick paste. Please apply paste to your face, hands and feet. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Do this everyday.

Milk has anti-inflammatory and calming properties that greatly aid in getting rid of dry and itching skin. In addition, lactic acid peels off dead skin cells and increases skin's ability to keep moisture. It also helps to lighten your complexion. Soak the towel in cold milk and place the cloth on dry skin for 5-7 minutes. Rinse gently with a cloth soaked in lukewarm water. This natural moisturizer will remain on your skin. Do this every other day. Alternatively, add a few drops of rose water to 4 tablespoons of milk. Please rub this solution on your body. Leave as it is for 10 minutes, the wash off with hot water. Please follow this treatment twice daily.

Honey

Honey is considered one of the best natural moisturizers loaded antioxidants, antimicrobials and moist properties. Therefore, it helps to lock the moisture to make your skin extra soft and smooth. In addition, honey has many important vitamins and minerals that help to improve your skin's health. Before taking a bath or shower, scrub honey on the whole body and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, measure equal parts of untreated honey, beeswax, olive oil. Melt the beeswax in a small pot with low heat. Remove it from heat, mix in honey and olive oil. Please apply this mixture on your body and leave it for 10 minutes. Next take a shower. Repeat daily or every other days.

Yogurt is an excellent skin moisturizer. In addition, its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help sooth dry and itchy skin. Its lactic acid content also helps to eliminate any bacteria that may cause drying or itching. Please gently apply yoghurt to your hands, face and legs and gently massage it on your skin. Please take a bath and a shower in ten minutes. The mild peeling action of yogurt removes dry skin and refreshes your skin. Do this everyday. Alternatively, mix half cup of yogurt and blend in 3 tablespoons of papaya. Stir in honey and lemon juice little by little. Apply to your skin, please leave it for about 10 minutes before washing off. Do this once a week.

Coconut oil is very good for dry skin treatment. It has a good amount of fatty acid to compensate for any loss of moisture from the skin. Apply warm coconut oil on your body freely. Please wash in the morning. Please do this everyday to make your skin soft and smooth. Apply coconut oil to dry skin after taking a bath or shower. When your skin is warm and supple from the bath, coconut oil is more easily absorbed. Do this everyday.

Avocado is packed with fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants that help to improve the skin from the inside. High vitamin A content helps to maintain and repair the skin to restore smooth silky skin. Mash the avocado pulp into a smooth paste. Rub the paste on all dry skin areas. Please let it sit on your skin for 10 - 15 minutes and rinse it with cold water. Repeat the process every day. Alternatively, mix half of the ripe avocado with equal amount of honey. Apply the mixture to your dry skin and let's sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. Please apply this hydrated face mask once or twice a week.

You can also use oatmeal to moisturize and soften dry skin. High protein content of the oatmeal leaves a protective barrier on the skin. And it helps to prevent water loss and maintain moisture. In addition, it has good anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that benefit the overall health of your skin. Pour a cup of plain oatmeal into your bathtub filled with hot water. Please add a few drops of lavender oil. Soak in bathtub water for 15 to 30 minutes. Please enjoy this soothing bath once a week. Alternatively, you can mix one mashed ripe banana with one cup of ground oatmeal and then make a face mask by adding a little warm milk. Apply this smooth mixture to your dry skin and please leave it for 10 - 15 minutes. Please wash it off with cold water. Please use this face mask once a week.

Almond oil is an excellent source of vitamin E and is therefore considered the best emollient and lubricant for dry skin. Also, its antioxidant properties are good for the overall health of the skin. Also, because this oil is lipid soluble, it is easily absorbed into your skin. Please gently warm some pure almond oil. Lightly massage with warm oil in 30 minutes before taking a shower. When your skin is still moist, please apply some light moisturizer after your shower. Do this everyday.
