Honey has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Honey helps to reduce the possibility of infections and swelling and pain.
-Spread 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey over your tongue.
- Allow it to stay on your burnt tongue for as long as possible before swallowing.
- Repeat the process 2 or 3 times a day.
Aloe vera is amazing to burn with your tongue. It helps to relieve pain and inflammation and to promote healing.
- Extract fresh aloe vera gel from an aloe vera leaf and apply it all over the tongue to soothe the burn. Repeat several times a day.
