Vacuuming

Vacuum can suck up eggs as well as the bugs. You may also have to scrape off the edge of your vacuum attachment to help remove the egg. As soon as you clean the vacuum, please remove the trash in a sealed bag. Vacuum the floor, carpet and areas of your house where bed bugs are found. Be sure to cover all gaps before cleaning so that they can not run there to hide. Clean the house at least once a week.

Diatomaceous Earth

You can also get rid of bed bugs from your house with food grade diatomaceous earth. It is a nontoxic material that helps organically kill these annoying pests. It is harmless to humans, but its small particles cut the shell of bedbugs, which will eventually kill them as they get dehydrated. Spread a small amount of this whitish substance around your home, including where the wall meets the floor, where the carpet meets the wall and any gaps between furniture. As long as it remains dry, diatomaceous earth keeps working for months.
